Why now, after the summer holidays, is the perfect time to take your first step into AI

Summer is over, to-do lists are filling up again—and right now there is an opportunity on the table that many overlook: the restart after the holidays is the perfect moment to take the first real step toward AI.

Why now?

A fresh perspective The distance of the last few weeks clears your head. Suddenly, you can see more clearly where processes are stalling, time is being lost, or potential remains untapped.
A natural break The moment you return from vacation feels like the start of a new year—just without the New Year's Eve celebrations. Motivation and focus are higher than usual, teams are (mostly) rested, and there is greater willingness to try new things.
Time window before the end-of-year rush If you start now, you can see the first results before Christmas. This not only creates motivation, but also provides concrete experience that can be incorporated into strategy and budget planning for next year.

My tip: Start small, but start now

Find a specific process that regularly takes up your or your team's time.

Analyze it: Where are the bottlenecks?
Break it down into steps: Which parts are repeatable, rule-based, and data-driven?
Consider: Which of these steps could AI take over or accelerate?

Examples of small but effective starting points

Email optimization → AI can optimize the text of your outgoing emails and regularly delete or archive your emails.
Pre-qualify customer inquiries → AI can classify and prioritize inquiries and forward them to the right contact person.
Prepare social media content → AI can provide initial drafts that you only need to refine.
